Tubular Solenoid 910
Technical details
Current: Direct Current (DC).
Standard voltages: 6V, 12V, 24V; other voltages available upon request.
Rated current (continuous use at 12 V DC): 593 mA.
Power in continuous use: 7.2 W.
Total weight: 145 g.
Coil temperature: Approximate rise of 65 °C above ambient temperature at recommended voltage and cycles.
Recommended safety factor: 1.25 to 1.5 to compensate for temperature, spring, voltage and environment.
Types of service / uses:
Continuous use: 40 °C ambient, nominal voltage.
Intermittent use: 20% time energized, 80% standby; energized time ≤ 3 minutes at 40 °C; acceptable voltage up to 100% nominal.
Pulse use: Acceptable voltage up to 200% nominal; short intervals to avoid exceeding 105 °C in coil.
Pulling force:
Greater force at a shorter distance from the moving core. This can be increased by energizing it at a higher voltage (intermittent use is mandatory). For example, a 12V solenoid can be energized at 24V and increase the pulling force by >40%, always respecting rest intervals.
Traceability:
Manufactured with total process control, ensuring the quality of the final product.
Manufacturing and warranty:
100% Made in Argentina.
Warranty: 30 days from the date of manufacture.
Construction materials:
Coil: Wrapped with electrical-grade polyester insulating tape.
Body: 1" tubular steel with standard structural seam.
Moving core: Galvanized drawn iron. Weight: 40 g.
Terminals: Copper cables with PVC insulation according to IRAM 2183 standard, 150 mm long, adjustable position upon request.
Fixing nuts: 3/4" thread, 3.18 mm thick, zinc-plated and passivated. Maximum fixing plate thickness: 3.5 mm.
Insulation material: Class F (155 °C). Standards: IRAM 2335-2 / IEC 60317-20.
Applications:
Access controls, turnstiles, vending machines, ATMs, medical and food service equipment for door closing, security locks, among others.
