Through Tubular Solenoid 901

Technical details

Direct current: Standard voltages 6, 12 and 24 V; other voltages available upon request.
Nominal current (continuous use at 12 VDC): 593 mA.
Power in continuous use: 7.2 W.
Total weight: 145 grams.
Possibility of working at double voltage in intermittent use.
Airtight tubular construction that efficiently protects the coil and ensures long-lasting insulation.
Absolutely silent.
Coil temperature: designed for a rise of approx. 65°C above ambient temperature when operated at the recommended voltage and cycles.

Safety factor
It is recommended to use a safety factor of 1.25 to 1.5 considering temperature, core spring, ambient temperature range and voltage fluctuations, to maintain a reliable pull force/stroke ratio.

Types of service / uses

  • Continuous use: 40 °C ambient temperature and nominal voltage.

  • Intermittent use: 20% energized time / 80% standby time; maximum energized time 3 min at 40 °C; acceptable voltage up to 100% nominal.

  • Pulse use: Acceptable voltage up to 200% of nominal; provided that the ON/OFF interval does not exceed a maximum temperature of 105 °C.

Shooting force
The closer the moving core is to the body, the greater the electromagnetic attraction. This can be increased by energizing it at a higher voltage, while respecting the temperature rise. For example, a 12 VDC solenoid energized at 24 VDC increases the pulling force by more than 40%, but only with intermittent use.

Traceability
Control Argentina ensures complete monitoring of the manufacturing process at all stages, guaranteeing product quality.
